## Winchester can lead the way\!

The climate crisis is right in front of our eyes. Let's do something about it.

This campaign is recruiting team members. There is no public petition on this page.

## What is the problem?

### 57% of food emissions come from animal products

Food systems are responsible for around a third of all global greenhouse gas emissions, and animal products are the dominant driver. Meat and dairy alone generate more emissions than all the world's planes, ships, and cars combined. Every meal Winchester serves is a choice between perpetuating this crisis or being part of the solution.

## What can we do?

### Let's serve the future

Every plate is a decision Winchester makes and can change. Our university has already committed to declared a climate emergency 7 years ago. This is a simple but critical step in safeguarding our future.

## Is that even possible?

University of Graz went fully plant-based. Southampton is Plant-Based by Default. Bristol opened 2 plant-based and vegetarian outlets in a year — and we can be next\!
