# Sciences Po Paris Canonical URL: [Sciences Po Paris](https://plantbaseduniversities.org/sciences-po-paris) Campaign last updated: 2026-10-30T13:34:25.222Z City: Paris ## SCIENCES PO PARIS GOING PLANT-BASED We're a student movement which aims to make Sciences Po 100% plant-based to respond to the climate and ecological crises. Join us ๐Ÿ’š Signatures displayed: 764. Current signature goal: 1,000. Counts can change. ## What is the problem? ### 57% of food emissions come from animal products Food systems are responsible for around a third of all global greenhouse gas emissions, and animal products are the dominant driver. Meat and dairy alone generate more emissions than all the world's planes, ships, and cars combined. The food offer at Sciences Po is a choice between perpetuating this crisis or being part of the solution. ## What can we do? ### 14.000 students at Sciences Po Every food item sold in the vending machines, every catering event is a decision Sciences Po makes and can decide to make differently. Sciences Po has already committed to reduce by 60% their emissions in 2035 (compared to 2019) to get carbon neutral by 2050. Going 100% plant-based is one of the most visible, controllable ways to actually deliver on that promise. ## Is that even possible? University of Graz went fully plant-based. Edinburgh hit 70% โ€” and Sciences Po can be next\! ## Petition To CROUS Paris & Sciences Po Administration Hello\! ๐ŸŒฑ We are Plant-Based Universities, a European student-led campaign calling on universities to shift to 100% plant-based catering.
