Food systems are responsible for around a third of all global greenhouse gas emissions, and animal products are the dominant driver. Meat and dairy alone generate more emissions than all the world's planes, ships, and cars combined. The food offer at Sciences Po is a choice between perpetuating this crisis or being part of the solution.
Every food item sold in the vending machines, every catering event is a decision Sciences Po makes and can decide to make differently. Sciences Po has already committed to reduce by 60% their emissions in 2035 (compared to 2019) to get carbon neutral by 2050. Going 100% plant-based is one of the most visible, controllable ways to actually deliver on that promise.
University of Graz went fully plant-based. Edinburgh hit 70% — and Sciences Po can be next!

40 people joined us for a climate run in the center of Paris! Lots of plant-based pastries as a reward for all runners 🥐

Our campaign has been elected for a second year as a student initiative on campus. We reached the third position out of 37 elected initiatives! It will help us sustain our campaign. Thank you for your vote 🌟
