University-led climate research is unanimous in its call for a shift to plant-based food. Yet there is progress to be made at LSE. We are changing that by campaigning for food that is sustainable, affordable, inclusive and fulfilling!

Food systems are responsible for around a third of all global greenhouse gas emissions, and animal products are the dominant driver. Meat and dairy alone generate more emissions than all the world's planes, ships, and cars combined. Every meal LSE serves is a choice between perpetuating this crisis or being part of the solution.
Every plate is a decision LSE makes and can change. The London School of Economics and Political Science has already committed to net-zero carbon by 2050 for its indirect emissions (scope 3). Going 100% plant-based is one of the most visible, controllable ways to actually deliver on that promise.
University of Graz went fully plant-based. Edinburgh hit 70% — and we can be next!
